Job overview

Have you ever thought about working in CAMHS but are unsure if you have the right skills? Do you have a passion for working in mental health? If you have the core qualifications we would like to hear from you. We don’t mind if you don’t have all the desirable elements. Our induction programme and ongoing learning opportunities will give you the opportunity to build on your existing skills, to be yourself and thrive in a reputable CAMHS service that’s last CQC inspection rated our care as outstanding.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an experienced professional to work within our Intensive Home Treatment Team and Enhanced Therapy ServiceTeam and we really want to hear from you. It is an exciting time for the service as we grow and expand our offer to the young people and families of North Derbyshire. We want you to help transform our service and expand our Intensive Home Treatment Team. Working alongside an already well established team we have a well-developed clinical supervision programme.

The successful applicant will work as part of a team to help manage complex mental health needs. You
will be involved in the assessment, formulation and interventions offered as well as liaison with other agencies.
You will be part of the regular team clinical supervision processes as well as being able to access regular and
frequent individual supervision.

Working for our organisation

We provide a full range of district general services including urgent and emergency care, specialist children’s services, maternity and community midwifery.  We also offer primary care through three GP practices with eight surgeries between them.  Our vision is exceptional care provided by exceptional people.  Our mission is to bring our people, communities and partners together- providing patient care we can all be proud of.  Your energy and leadership will be critical to our success.

We are firmly rooted in the founding principles of the NHS, and we have built on this by “Leading the Chesterfield Way”, and with our Proud to CARE values.  This means leading with care, openness, integrity and embedding an inclusive culture. We know that people have a life and responsibilities outside of work and we offer flexibility and a whole raft of support to care for your physical and mental wellbeing.  This role is hugely important to us and we look forward to hearing from you.

Our main hospital is on a greenfield site with abundant countryside, lovely views, beautiful landscaping and outdoor gym- it's easy to access green space at break times which offers an opportunity to de-stress.

Our new building, which is close by, is located in a historic market town and on the doorstep of Sheffield, a vibrant, multi-cultural/cosmopolitan city.

Both sites are easily accessible from the M1 and the A61 and the local train station is nearby.
