Job overview

A rare and exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join Orthopaedic Outpatients in Suite 1 working 15 Hours per week.  Working with our friendly and approachable team you will support Consultants in the delivery of patient care to an exceptional standard.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will carry out nursing duties in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and ensure all Professional Standards and Trust Policies are complied with.

The post holder will work under the direction of the departmental sister to ensure that the Orthopaedic Outpatient Department continually provides a high standard of nursing care and treatments to patients and their families by assisting medical and nurse specialists to ensure the smooth provision of services to patients attending the department.

  • Registered Nurse
  • NMC professional registration
Desirable criteria
  • 1st level degree

Experience

  • Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience and understanding of nursing processes i.e. assessment care planning, implementation and evaluation

  • Previous Outpatient experience
  • Previous Surgical experience
  • Orthopaedic experience
