COVID-19 Vacancy Pandemic Support Nurse

We are looking for motivated and dynamic Registered Nurses to join our team of clinical staff in supporting the COVID pandemic response.

You will be part of a team working in our two Satellite Testing Centre’s in Derbyshire, undertaking COVID swab testing and also supporting our mobile outbreak teams. You will support our current Flu Vaccination teams and in the future the COVID vaccination programme, delivered locally in Derbyshire. This programme will be delivered to Healthcare and Keyworker colleagues and patients as part of static and mobile teams. You will also support our antibody testing programme, undertaking phlebotomy or other point of care testing.

You will need to meet the following essential criteria:

  • Registered General Nurse
  • Minimum 3 years post registration experience in a suitable clinical environment
  • Up to date with Flu Immunisation Training, BLS and anaphylaxis
  • Experience of undertaking Flu vaccination programmes e.g. clinic, housebound
  • Experience using PGD’s or non-medical prescriber
