NHS Derby and Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is the organisation responsible for planning, monitoring, and paying for health services in Derby and Derbyshire. Serving a total population of 1,053,000 with a budget of over £1.6 billion the CCG has a staff base of approximately 400 people.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and pragmatic HR professional to join our in-house HR Team at NHS Derby and Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group.
We support and value flexible working and are ideally hoping to appoint someone who is able to work for us 2 to 3 days per week (15 to 19 hours) and towards the beginning part of the week (subject to review).
You will work closely with our managers to influence and implement people priorities and provide professional advice on all people matters, including employee relations cases and organisational change. You will be confident in situations that require negotiation, have an inclusive approach and be able to add value beyond giving technical advice.
MCIPD qualified, you will have up-to-date specialist knowledge of employment law and appropriate application of HR best practice.
Although your base will be at Cardinal Square, Derby, we are an “agile” team that covers all three of our CCG bases at Derby, Chesterfield and Ilkeston, so an ability and willingness to travel is essential.
If you want to join a genuinely supportive team and use your strong influencing and coaching skills to support and develop our workforce we would love to hear from you.
Interviews for this post will be held on Friday 17th January 2020.
Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the resident labour market test. UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit the UKVI website. From 6 April 2017, Tier 2 skilled worker applicants, applying for entry clearance into the UK, must present a criminal record certificate from each country they have resided continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Adult dependants (over 18 years old) will also be subject to this requirement. Guidance can be found here Criminal Records Checks for Overseas Applicants.
