Job overview
Recognised nationally for our passion to deliver high quality compassionate care we are looking for Registered Nurses to join our established friendly Renal Team.
The Renal Dialysis Unit is a purpose built unit with 9 dialysis stations providing chronic haemodialysis. This is a rewarding role working closely with patients to ensure they obtain optimal care in the haemodialysis setting.
Experience is not essential as all staff are well supported by our Practice development facilitator and we have comprehensive competency packages in place for all new starters. However you must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach within the working environment and a willingness to develop clinical skills. The Unit operates Monday to Saturday from 08.00 till 00.00, and you must be flexible to cover shifts within these hours over 6 days per week.

We are looking for a Registered nurse who are committed to individualised patient centred care.
Main duties of the job
- Ensuring consistent delivery of patient care, assessing care needs & implementing agreed nursing and clinical standards.
- Delivering haemodialysis treatment to CKD patients who attend the unit 3 times a week.
- Managing a clinical workload
- Working with the MDT to ensure that the needs of the complex chronic patients are met.
- Monitoring the quality of care delivered using clinical standards & audit and in conjunction with other members of the MDT takes necessary action to ensure excellence in nursing practice.
- Participating in professional and personal development of the Nursing Team.
- Supporting the nursing team in the clinical area to minimise and identify potential environmental & clinical risks.
