Would you like to join our admin team, who provide support to Clinical Staff in the Swadlincote Community Care Service in South Derbyshire?
If so, we are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic administrator to join our team!
This role is part time (28 hours) worked across Monday-Friday. Shift patterns to be discussed.
The role involves a variety of administrative tasks supporting the function of Community Care Services. You will be providing support to the Core community teams across South Derbyshire.
We would welcome applications from experienced admin staff who would like to start a career in the NHS or simply start in a new team and develop new skills.
Main duties of the job
Provide a comprehensive administrative support to the Team
Undertake administrative duties including word processing, excel, data entry, photocopying, and filing both electronic and paper-based documents
Provide first contact via telephone for queries, respond to day to day enquiries and maintain an efficient message taking system
Assist with archiving activities and filing updates e.g. staffs personal files, patients electronic records etc.
Enter and extract data from DCHS systems as needed
Support on various audits ensuring governance and standards are maintained
Process unassigned tasks s on the SystmOne unit
Travel between various sites as required.

- Educated to GCSE level at C / level 4 or above (English) or Equivalent

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team
- Excellent telephone skills and manner
- Sound level of IT competency in using Microsoft Office packages
Experience and Knowledge Required

- Experience of working in a role which has involved time management and diary management skills
- Recent and relevant experience of working in a busy office environment
- Knowledge of confidentiality issues and Caldicott principles
Desirable criteria
- Awareness of Health and Social Care sector
