Community Physiotherapist

NHS AfC: Band 6

Job overview

Are you looking for your next physiotherapy challenge with sea views and supportive colleagues?

Come and join our Paignton & Brixham Community Physio team, where you’ll find more than just a job — you’ll discover a lifestyle, a community, and a team that values you.

We’re looking for a dynamic and HCPC-registered Physiotherapist to join our friendly, supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a forward-thinking environment where you can make a real difference to patients' lives.

Main duties of the job

This is a fantastic opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centred physiotherapy across a range of community settings. You’ll work autonomously and as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, which includes nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, and more.

Your day-to-day will include:

·         Providing expert care in patients’ homes and care homes.

·         Managing your own caseload across varied and often complex conditions.

·         Working closely with GPs and wider healthcare professionals to prevent hospital admissions and support early discharges.

This role involves working across the community team and also as part of the Therapy team in Brixham hospital.

You will also be expected to help support the IC weekend rota & the Brixham hospital bank holiday rota at times.
