Specialist MRI Radiographer

Job overview

Our MRI department has two 3T Siemens Vida MRI scanners, a 1.5T Siemens Sola, two 1.5T Philips Ingenia scanners and 2 x 1.5T GE Voyager AIR scanners which you would be rotated through.  We perform a wide range of MRI examinations including abdominal, pelvic, cardiac, breast, musculoskeletal, neuroimaging, fMRI, paediatric and GA patients.

Our scanners operate extended days and weekends, and there is also an out-of-hours (nights and bank holidays) commitment to on-call from home.

There is a CPD calendar with active participation from staff, and we support and encourage radiographers in their career development, including post-graduate study. Several MRI Radiographers comment on orbit radiographs, there are reporting Radiographers, and an advanced Cardiac MRI practitioner.

***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.***
