Are you a Dietitian? We have a unique opportunity to be part of a new pathway to support young people with eating disorders and disordered eating within inpatient CAMHS in Dorset.
Pebble Lodge is a 10-bed that provides inpatient care for young people whose care needs are best met in a hospital setting.
You will undertake comprehensive dietetic assessment, co-creating individualised, evidence based dietetic care plans for the young people. ensuring the care plan is communicated using appropriate language and terminology to the young person, their family/carers as well as the staff team. You will be working closely with passionate eating disorders professionals and the inpatient multidisciplinary team to deliver the best outcomes for this patient group.
This is a part time post of 7.5 hours per week based at Pebble Lodge, Alumhurst Road.

Main duties of the job
Utilise highly developed communication and teaching skills to support nutrition counselling for a very complex client group.
Ability to manage appropriately, distressing situations involving treatment of very unwell patients. This may result in exposure to complex situations and distressed relatives.
Lead nutritional education, training and health promotion within the service, by developing appropriate resources for clients and acting as a nutritional expert.
