Trosolwg o'r swydd

As part of our ongoing commitment to the staff development and career progression within CAMHS, we are excited to be inviting applications for roles within the new CAMHS Enhanced Support and Liaison Team. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate, flexible, enthusiastic people with the appropriate skills to join a new service.

The CAMHS Enhanced Support and Liaison Service is looking to recruit a Young Person and Family Outreach Worker to work alongside the Practitioners within the team to support young people in Crisis in their homes and acute hospital sites. This is a PAN Dorset post. The role itself is both demanding and rewarding; a flexible, hardworking approach is essential to managing the demands of working within an Enhanced Support Service.

This post is offered on a Part-time basis and flexible working arrangements will be considered. Some weekend working and late/early shifts are a requirement of the post but would be managed through a rota. The post holder will need to have experience of working therapeutically with children and young people with mental health presentations and their families. Significant experience of working in a clinical role in mental health is essential.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.  Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
