Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two motivated individuals to undertake a Business Administrator apprenticeship (level 3) within the NHS Talking Therapies Southampton Steps2Wellbeing Service. This position is based in Southampton.
The service offers a range of evidence based talking therapies for common mental health problems. The service also provides a range of Step 2 and Step 3 psychological therapy options including Low and High Intensity CBT, Psycho-educational groups and Counselling.
The successful candidates will be working Monday to Friday with Saturdays and evenings by rota. The individuals will be able to ensure a confidential, efficient administrative service is provided to the Steps2Wellbeing clients and staff. You will be able to evidence a flexible response to service needs and the ability to think creatively. Experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintaining confidentiality are also essential.
The successful candidate will receive training and work towards formal qualifications whilst developing professional skills to provide support to the service.

Main duties of the job
This is a great opportunity for individuals with transferable skills to become part of a dedicated and enthusiastic team. You will need to be confident speaking on the phone, comfortable managing a high volume of calls, and able to support clients with care and professionalism, including those who may be distressed.
The successful applicants will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard-working. You will have good customer care communication skills, an excellent telephone manner, attention to detail, the ability to cope with complex tasks using a database which requires input and questioning of client information. You will be required to work accurately under pressure, whilst remaining calm and courteous and be able to work well as part of a team.

Educational Requirements/Qualifactions
Essential criteria
- Good level of education (GCSE level) with good standard of English and Mathematics.
Desirable criteria
- RSA 2 keyboard skills; audio typing and word processing
Skills/Experience/Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Good time management skills e.g. To be able to work to tight deadlines
- Good organisational skills and ability to organise own workload
- Good standard keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
