North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital-based services to the population of Hartlepool, Stockton on Tees and parts of East Durham and Sedgefield as well as community, therapeutic and screening to a wider population across Durham and Teesside.

Job overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Rotational Band 5 Physiotherapist, to join our team in various areas of our multi-site trust. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a high standard of physiotherapy services to patients with diverse conditions. Rotations are available in: outpatient physiotherapy, elective orthopaedics, trauma orthopaedics, acute therapies, inpatient and outpatient respiratory, inpatient and outpatient stroke, long term neurological conditions and community integrated assessment team.

Main duties of the job

Successful candidate must be able to:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate appropriate treatment plans based on the assessment findings

Deliver high-quality physiotherapy interventions to patients across a range of clinical settings, including acute inpatient, outpatient, and community settings

Use clinical reasoning to modify treatment plans and goals as required

Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes

Document patient progress and maintain accurate patient records

Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives

Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines

Participate in continuous professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

Requirements:

Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent

Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

Evidence of continuing professional development

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

A positive attitude towards change and innovation

Ability to work flexibly across different clinical settings and locations
