We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Registered Podiatrist to join our North Podiatry Service on a 12-month fixed-term contract and it is for 21 hours and 45 mins a week, helping us provide high-quality podiatric care to patients across West Sussex.

Main duties of the job

As part of one of the Trust's largest and most established clinical teams, you will play a key role in delivering specialist podiatric care to patients with complex needs. The North Podiatry Service operates across West Sussex, providing a broad range of opportunities to utilise and further enhance your clinical skills and experience.

You will:

• Deliver expert podiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients at moderate and high risk of foot complications.
• Manage patients with active ulceration and complex clinical needs.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support holistic patient care.
• Help patients remain independent, mobile and active within their communities.
• Contribute to preventing avoidable hospital admissions and supporting timely discharge from acute settings.
• Participate in service development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
