Highly Specialised Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist – Band 7 - Part-time

We are in an exciting time of development for East Sussex Healthcare MSK services. Having established AP posts and developed our MSK care pathways, we are now looking to recruit another Band 7 physiotherapist to join our clinical team. This post involves close working with our AP’s, clinical band 7’s and musculoskeletal team leaders, to deliver quality and innovation in clinical practice.

If you are an experienced, innovative band 6 or 7 musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a clinical interest in the Lower Limb, we would like to hear from you.

Successful candidates would demonstrate expertise in clinical assessment and treatment, in conjunction with leadership skills to support our AP’s, team leads and consultant physiotherapist, on the delivery of MSK care pathways.  As part of the clinical leadership team you will have the opportunity to develop and share learning on pathways of care established within the service, currently: upper limb, lower limb, rheumatology, and spinal.  Successful candidates may have already aligned their practice to an area or should demonstrate the motivation to do so.

Innovation is key to the development of our services. You will be fundamental in the clinical development of others and the service, and as such will be expected to take the development opportunities we can offer you.   We have close links with the University of Brighton and post graduate education is actively encouraged.

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust currently delivers a musculoskeletal physiotherapy service within 10 outpatient settings across East Sussex.  Cross-site working is structured around 2 year rotations which now operate on an East and West Pathway, incorporating Acute and Community sites. This ensures equality of access for patients, as well as staff access to a variety of development opportunities.  The ability to travel is therefore preferable.
