With the restructure within the Clinical Divisions to align with national profiles opportunities have arisen for the development of the new Matron role.
The Matron role provides operational, clinical and professional leadership for a group of services within the Care Group.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
Provide visible expert clinical and professional leadership for a group of services within the Care Group. Working in collaboration with the Service Manager and Clinical lead to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality care.
The Matron will Lead quality improvement, patient safety, governance and assurance programmes and monitor clinical standards, audits, incidents and performance, driving continuous improvement.
Manage staffing, develop and support workforce resources and operational performance to ensure safe and sustainable services.
The postholder will need a level of clinical expertise and knowledge of the care group services for the post they wish to apply for.
The post involves participation in the Matron of the day rota which includes evening and weekend working and leads the operational oversight of staffing and patient flow and supports the site/on call team with clinical leadership out of hours.
