We're looking for a Senior Digital Trainer/Change Analysts to support the training and change elements of key digital projects, including EmPoweR, our programme to deliver a full Electronic Patient Record to our acute services.

This role is as a secondment/fixed term for 23 months.

The roles can be based at either Conquest Hospital, St Leonards or Eastbourne DGH with the requirement to travel cross-site and work from both acute and community locations.

Main duties of the job

In this role you will assist in the identification, development and provision of effective focused training on our digital systems. You will ensure that the training provided to colleagues is of a high standard and be responsible for the delivery of the training scripts and manuals required for this training.

Working alongside Business Analysts, you will facilitate process mapping for digital change and ensure that staff engage in effective change management processes to enable the delivery of identified benefits from clinical and non-clinical digital systems. 

You will need to engage effectively with staff at all levels of the Trust to identify and facilitate changes required such as role and business process redesign, utilising different methods of engagement to realise the end vision. 

You will also be expected to line manage junior staff within the Change and Training team and support the Digital Change and Training Lead in achieving the Trust's objectives.

Essential criteria
  • Educated to degree level or proven equivalent
  • Postgraduate training qualification or equivalent knowledge/experience
Desirable criteria
  • Project Management qualification e.g. PRINCE
  • Change Management qualification

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Minimum two years' experience as a Digital Trainer/Change Analyst
  • Experience of working in a senior administrative or managerial role
  • Experience of process redesign, organisational development and/or change management
Desirable criteria
  • Line management of junior staff

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Digital literacy, confident use of Microsoft packages
  • Excellent communication skills including both written and presentational
  • Ability to motivate and encourage others and take them through change process design/redesign
  • Understanding of benefits realisation
  • Ability to empathise with and build positive working relationships with range of stakeholders
  • Enthusiasm for transforming healthcare services
