Job overview
We are looking to recruit a Registered Nurse to join our Team on Pevensey Day Unit.
We provide treatments to Haematology Oncology patients. The day area has 18 chair/bed spaces caring predominantly for patients receiving Haematology and Oncology treatments and is currently open from 0800 -1800 Monday to Friday. The Unit uses the Chemocare electronic prescribing system and has implemented an electronic diary system of booking patient appointments.
You must be a 1st Level Registered Nurse (Diploma/Degree), with generic pre-registration experience in an acute setting with Chemotherapy experience is desirable.
You must be able to work as part of a team, use your own initiative with effective interpersonal and communication skills, In return for your hard work and dedication.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse and hold active registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Diploma/Degree level qualification relevant to role
- Professional qualification and knowledge of patient assessment, planning, developing and implementing programmes of care
- Evidence of mandatory and statutory essential training skills, for example, Basic Life Support, manual handling, infection control, fire etc
Desirable criteria
- Post Graduate qualification at Degree level relevant to role to demonstrate clinical skills
