We provide our services at two district general hospitals, Conquest Hospital and Eastbourne District General Hospital, community hospitals in Bexhill, Crowborough, Lewes, Rye and Uckfield and a number of clinics and health centres, GP surgeries, schools and in people’s homes.

Trust Foundation Year 3 / CT1 level
We provide our service at two District General Hospitals in Eastbourne and Hastings, and combine community and hospital services together.
We have an exciting new opportunity for FY3 / CT doctors to work at this Trust in a number of specialities( Respiratory, haematology, ITU/MAU,Stroke/ Geriatrics , Cardiology, Gastroenterology ). (these posts will rotate 4 or 6 months within each hospital )
Eligible applications are for doctors that have completed Foundation Training at FY2 or above who are looking to take a year out of training, wishing to gain a broader experience and to help decide your next career pathway. This may also appeal to locally employed doctors looking to gain NHS experience and not worked in the UK before.
The posts are available from 5 August 2020 - 3 August 2021. There is scope to extend this beyond the initial fixed term.
It will provide an opportunity for a FY3/CT1 level trainee who is interested in any sub specialty and wishing to practice in a supportive environment, whilst also developing a recognised clinical teaching portfolio. You will be afforded all of the educational benefits of your colleagues on a training rotation and you will have the opportunity of support and funding with courses with study leave of 10 days and £1,000 p.a. There may be the chance to design your own post/rotation and we will work flexibly with you to develop your area of interest.
