Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, forward thinking RGN to join the Cookson Attenborough team. We are primarily elective orthopaedics, however also undertake elective general surgery. Whether you are just starting out on your Nursing career, looking for a change of job, working in a Nursing Home or even returning to practice, we would welcome the opportunity to meet with you, our team is both friendly and supportive, with a strong commitment to providing a high standard of care. We are keen to encourage and support professional development. This position will incorporate day and night shifts.
Our shifts are 11.5 hours, day and nights.
We support student nurse cohorts, and you will be expected to mentor students.
Main duties of the job
Undertaking ward rounds, managing patients pre/post operatively and discharging patients when medically fit.
Liaising with members of the MDT.
Team work is an integral part of this job.
