BRIGHTON & SUSSEX UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS NHS TRUST PRINCESS ROYAL HOSPITAL Clinical Fellow in Medicine ST3+ (Medical Registrar on call)
We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic doctors to contribute to the Medical service currently provided in Haywards Heath. Applications are invited for Clinical Fellow / Medical Registrar posts in Medicine, working at Brighton and Sussex University NHS Trust. This post is available from ASAP until October 2018. This post is ideal for candidates with MRCP who wish to pursue a career in Medicine but would like to gain further experience at the Registrar level. All of these posts have arisen due to gaps in different Medicine SpR training programmes. There are 2 posts that will be partly based in RAMU (Rapid Access Medical Unit) but will also be required to provide cover at a registrar level on other medical teams at Princess Royal Hospital, with the option to pursue interests in a subspeciality (Care of the Elderly and Frailty, or, Endocrinology and Diabetes). Each Post will have a designated supervisor and Successful candidates will be expected to work at the Princess Royal Hospital (Haywards Heath) at Registrar level and will contribute to the Medical Registrar on call rota on a 1:10 basis. As these are mostly replacement posts for gaps within a training programme, there will be opportunities to gain experience in the subspecialties as would be expected by post holders with training numbers within these posts.
