Facilities Supervisor

This role includes: Rota planning and management; ordering and stock control; day-to-day supervision and task allocation of the Facilities team; monitoring sickness/absence; carrying out return to work meetings and quarterly staff supervisions; holding staff meetings; training & inductions; annual leave allocation and approval; various audits; scheduling for deep cleans. FACILITIES SUPERVISOR - 37.5 hours per week (Rota working, including weekends)

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Facilities team. Based at Horsham Hospital, the successful applicant will also be required to support at additional sites when required.

You will have proven experience within a Facilities team, ideally in a hospital environment, with an excellent understanding and knowledge of soft FM disciplines, namely Domestic, Housekeeping, and Catering, as well as an understanding of third party contracts commensurate with a soft FM service.

You should be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team, and be able to assess workloads and prioritise effectively. You must ensure our high departmental standards are maintained and regularly audited.

You will need to have excellent communication skills, good IT skills, flexibility to provide team cover and the ability to train, lead and motivate the team to make sure a high quality, professional service is delivered to patients and staff at all times. Ideally you will also have an understanding of the NHS Procurement and Healthroster systems.

As this is a multi-site position, a full driving licence is a prerequisite for interview, so this should be confirmed within your application.
