We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Band 4 Administrator to support this exciting initiative.
Job Summary:
As the Band 4 Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of the Nursing Rotational Programme and educational initiatives. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks that ensure the smooth running of our innovative education project. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organisational skills and a passion for supporting the professional development of healthcare professionals.

Main duties of the job
Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Cancer Services Education team.
Coordination: Coordinate and organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to the Nursing Rotational Programme.
Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the programme, including nurse schedules and rotation plans.
Calendar Management: Manage calendars, appointments, and schedules for the project team and participating nurses.
Report Preparation: Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and educational materials.
Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
General Office Duties: Handle general office duties, including correspondence, filing, and data entry.
Project Support: Support the implementation and monitoring of project timelines and deliverables.

· Provide, receive, and deal with confidential information daily.

· Responding to stakeholders and professionals across the wider health community
· Liaise with other NHS organisations and external agencies (including voluntary organisations)
· To maintain close links, communication, and liaison between practice development and learning & development.
· Support and monitor on-going departmental recruitment and training projects as required by tracking progress and developments in order to support senior staff and handle queries appropriately.
· Handle incoming correspondence, written, email or telephone, relating to the departmental training and recruitment service and deal with any relevant queries that occur, resolving problems using own initiative
· Support communication required for the Fundamentals of cancer care course and other cancer education / training programmes.
· Provide administration support for the Project lead and Educator and The Cancer Educator team to develop a sustainable rotational programme for cancer service staff.

Essential criteria
- 5 GCSE's or equivalent (NVQ Level 3
- Demonstrated knowledge and awareness of clerical and administrative procedures and systems
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working within a team.
- Knowledge and awareness of confidentiality issues relating to the Data Protection Act and Computer Misuse Act
- Experience of working in Education or cancer care administration services
- Project experience
