Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Greeting Patients: Welcome patients in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported from the moment they arrive.
Booking and Updating Patient Information: Accurately book patients in and verify their details in the system, making necessary adjustments to ensure records are current.
Handling Enquiries: Address both in-person and telephone inquiries competently, providing helpful and courteous responses to ensure a positive experience for all patients and visitors.
Maintaining Confidentiality: Uphold patient confidentiality at all times in line with relevant policies and legislation to protect personal and sensitive information.
Supporting Departmental Operations: Contribute to the smooth running of the department by assisting with administrative tasks such as ordering stock, printing clinic lists, and allocating patients to appropriate clinic slots.
Please note: This role does not meet the minimum criteria for visa sponsorship under the current UK immigration rules, which set specific salary and skill thresholds. As such, we are unable to provide sponsorship for this post. Applicants will therefore need to already have the right to work in the UK to be considered.
