Main duties of the job
Senior Administrator – Join our Neurology Secretarial Team based at Hull Royal Infirmary
Are you enthusiastic, organised, and passionate about making a difference in a healthcare setting? We are looking to recruit several Senior Administrators to join our friendly and supportive teams.
About the Role: You’ll need to communicate effectively at all levels, work flexibly, and be able to organise and prioritise your workload. Our roles are varied and challenging and your day to day duties may include;
· Transcription of clinical letters and consultant diary management

· Helping track our patients through their journey to ensure a great patient experience
While previous clerical or administration experience is desirable, we are first and foremost interested in individuals with a ‘can do’ attitude, a passion for working in healthcare, and a flexible approach to work. Note many of our Senior Administrator roles have an element of supervisory responsibility. If you are committed, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a team that values every member, we want to hear from you.
This post will offer the opportunity of office based working and working from home on a rota basis.
Full training will be provided, and the organisation is an advocate of personal development for those wishing to progress and pursue a career within the NHS.
Working for our organisation
The Humber Health Partnership is one of the largest acute and community Partnership arrangements in the NHS, seeing well over one million patients every year and managing a budget of over £1.3 billion.
Made up of two Trusts - Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG) and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) - our Partnership has significant ambitions and is committed to delivering world-class hospital and community services for the 1.65 million people we serve.
Together we employ nearly 20,000 staff. Our five main hospital sites are Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Scunthorpe General Hospital and Goole and District Hospital, for NLAG and Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital for HUTH.
As Teaching Hospitals working with the Hull York Medical School, we both lead and contribute to research in many areas - biomedical research, primary care, palliative medicine, cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, vascular surgery, cancer surgery and oncology.
We believe that by developing a diverse, inclusive, innovative, skilled and caring workforce, we can deliver excellent care to our patients and a great future for our employees, our Partnership and our community.
