Job overview

We are looking for   reliable, conscientious and practical applicants to join our large team of staff working in busy departments, providing an efficient pharmacy service.

The successful candidates will undertake duties across all sites within the trust, including, but not exclusively,  stores, distribution,  ward top-up, medical gas delivery and dispensing services.

Main duties of the job

Applicants must have  an NVQ2/BTEC level 2 in Pharmacy Services and pharmacy experience in a healthcare setting

Applicants should, preferably but not essential, have a full clean driving license, as they will be required to undertake a driving assessment to allow the use of Trust transport when delivering drugs around the trust sites

All staff participate in evening, weekend and the Bank Holiday working arrangements of the department

We offer a range of flexible working (most staff work full time hours over 4 days) but to meet the changing needs of the service, the duties and working times attached to this post may be subject to reasonable change in the future.

If you are an individual who is keen to embrace change and look at new ways of working, and would like to be part of a large, friendly and supportive department this could be the opportunity you are looking for.

If you are interested in applying for this post then we can offer you a tour of the department where you can meet the staff and observe the work that we do

Working for our organisation

The Humber Health Partnership is one of the largest acute and community Partnership arrangements in the NHS, seeing well over one million patients every year and managing a budget of over £1.3 billion.

Made up of two Trusts - Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG) and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) - our Partnership has significant ambitions and is committed to delivering world-class hospital and community services for the 1.65 million people we serve.

Together we employ nearly 20,000 staff. Our five main hospital sites are Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Scunthorpe General Hospital and Goole and District Hospital, for NLAG and Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital for HUTH.

As Teaching Hospitals working with the Hull York Medical School, we both lead and contribute to research in many areas - biomedical research, primary care, palliative medicine, cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, vascular surgery, cancer surgery and oncology.

We believe that by developing a diverse, inclusive, innovative, skilled and caring workforce, we can deliver excellent care to our patients and a great future for our employees, our Partnership and our community
