Qualfications, Education and Traiinig

Essential criteria

Current registration on the NMC register.
Professional qualification to Degree level or Diploma level.
To be on the live register of mentors
To be willing to work towards the Level 7 University study and practical placement days, allowing individuals to gain valuable professional experience while advancing their academic qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

Essential criteria

Some understanding of relevant policy, legislation and guidance relevant to clinical area, e.g. Children, Young People and their families
Some understanding of relevant clinical practice/standards within identified clinical area

Desirable criteria

Leadership knowledge and skills
Experience of multi-agency working

Where operationally feasible the Trust supports agile working, there is an expectation of attendance of 1 day per week at a Trust site as a minimum operationally. Unless specifically stated in the advert that a role will have home as the base of work, all roles will have the option to work from a Trust base if remote working is not for you.

If required for the post the ability to commute within the Trusts geographical area with access to the appropriate means of transport would be essential.
