Job overview
Are you looking for a new challenge in a rewarding environment?
We are looking to hire a Band 4 Nursery Nurses to work within our Transitional Care Service and Neonatal Unit.
Keeping mothers and babies together should be the cornerstone of newborn care. Neonatal Transitional Care (NTC) supports resident mothers as primary care providers for their babies with care requirements in excess of normal newborn care, but who do not require to be in a neonatal unit (NNU).
NTC has the potential to prevent thousands of admissions annually to neonatal units, providing additional support for small and/or late preterm babies and their families.
We are looking for a highly motivated, compassionate and enthusiastic nursery nurse to join our neonatal nursing team. We have a part time position available, (34.5 hours per week) for individuals with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
Our Neonatal Unit is situated within Basildon Hospital and is part of the East of England Operational Delivery Network. The Neonatal Ward is a Level 2 Local Unit and offers comprehensive neonatal services, which include designated Intensive Care cots, High Dependency cots, Special Care cots and a Transitional Care Service.
