CALLING ALL  PHYSIOTHERAPY STUDENTS GRADUATING THIS YEAR!

Are you looking for a rotational post within the acute setting through a range of specialities?  This would be a great opportunity for new graduates, professionals looking to return to practice or to gain experience in this area or setting.

This role would provide an ideal opportunity to join to large team of therapists within areas such as MSK Outpatients, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Respiratory, Cardiothoracics, Elderly, Paediatrics, Stroke, Pelvic Health and Surgery/Vascular.

This would give you the opportunities and support to build on existing knowledge and skills, within a supportive team and environment, to start or continue a successful career within the NHS.

Main duties of the job

Main duties include:

To undertake the assessment and management of patients and liaise with the multi-disciplinary team as appropriate.
To utilise a range of skills and therapeutic handling in the management of patients
To communicate information, which may be sensitive, in an understandable form
To be an active member of in-service training
To maintain patient records in line with HCPC, CSP and Trust guidelines.
To take responsibility for own continued professional development
To participate in evening, weekend and oncall services as required.
To identify opportunities to improve the service for staff and patients alike.
