Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.
Within Mid and South Essex there are 149 GP practices, operating from over 200 sites, forming 27 Primary Care Networks and one Ambulance Trust. There are also three main community and mental health service providers who work together through a community collaborative.
We collaborate with other valuable partners, including three Healthwatch organisations, nine voluntary and community sector organisations and three top tier local authorities, with seven district, borough and city councils, as well as our local universities.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that stock levels are well managed, cost‑effective, and aligned with the needs of our user departments. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate replenishment of all products, following agreed processes, policies and procedures to maintain efficiency and service quality.

Main duties of the job
Work as a team maintain an efficient replenishment process and cost effective stock.
To use initiative and work independently with a minimum level of supervision.
Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to improve the quality of service provided to customers across the group.
Ensure goods received in Receipts and Dispatch are distributed to user departments.
For the areas you are assigned, support the Head of Supply Chain and Site Logistics Lead through the delivery of the work schedule in a timely manner.

- Proven stock management experience
- Proven experience in a Logistics environment
- Competent in operating computerised stock management systems
- Working knowledge of stock replenishment systems
Desirable criteria
- Proven experience in a NHS logistics environment
