Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.
Within Mid and South Essex there are 149 GP practices, operating from over 200 sites, forming 27 Primary Care Networks and one Ambulance Trust. There are also three main community and mental health service providers who work together through a community collaborative.
We collaborate with other valuable partners, including three Healthwatch organisations, nine voluntary and community sector organisations and three top tier local authorities, with seven district, borough and city councils, as well as our local universities.

We have a fantastic fixed-term opportunity for someone looking for a part-time role in administration.
The role is based within the Medical Secretarial Service at Broomfield Hospital, and comes with some great benefits including, a very generous holiday allowance, a brilliant pension and the opportunity to work with some great people.
There is a wide range of support for staff covering a broad range of subjects such as child care, health and fitness and mental health, and financially supported schemes for travel such as cycle to work and discounted bus tickets . We can also offer some great flexibility on working hours and working patterns and a full training and mentoring is available if required.

Main duties of the job
A range of administrative tasks involved in patient care including - filing, scanning, sending letters, collecting post, retrieving messages on phones, populating spreadsheets and completing forms.
It may also involve tracking patients, collating diagnostic results, calling patients and supporting secretarial tasks.
