Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.
Within Mid and South Essex there are 149 GP practices, operating from over 200 sites, forming 27 Primary Care Networks and one Ambulance Trust. There are also three main community and mental health service providers who work together through a community collaborative.
We collaborate with other valuable partners, including three Healthwatch organisations, nine voluntary and community sector organisations and three top tier local authorities, with seven district, borough and city councils, as well as our local universities.

We have an exciting opportunity here at Mid and South Essex Foundation Trust for you to join us our divisional PA .
You will be required to provide a comprehensive, effective and efficient Personal Assistant service to the Deputy Director of Operations, Deputy Director of Nursing, Associate Director of Nursing and Clinical Director.

Main duties of the job
Working as our Divisional PA you will be the key point of contact for the divisional leadership team.
Undertake a wide range of tasks including inbox and diary management, complete and distribute invitations, agenda’s and meeting minutes on behalf of the leadership team.
Compile governance reports ensuring that actions are being addressed by the appropriate person.
You will be expected to exercise initiative, prioritising conflicting work demands, and effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with a wide range of internal and external colleagues, exercising tact and diplomacy.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Foundation degree or NVQ Level 4.
Desirable criteria
- Pitman or RSA typing up to Level III or equivalent
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
- Demonstrable secretarial experience working at director level
- Experience of taking minutes at formal meetings.
- Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable criteria
- Previous NHS experience.
