Job overview

Are you a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse looking to develop your skills within a specialist women's health service? We have an exciting fixed-term opportunity to join our dedicated Gynaecology Emergency Assessment Unit, covering a period of maternity leave.

This busy and rewarding role involves caring for patients presenting with a wide range of gynaecological and early pregnancy concerns, including pregnancy loss and complications, gynaecological oncology, post-menopausal conditions and urogynaecology issues. Working as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care and support during what can often be a challenging and emotional time for patients.

We are looking for a caring and adaptable nurse with excellent communication skills, strong clinical judgement and a passion for delivering exceptional women's healthcare. In return, you will gain valuable specialist experience within a supportive and friendly team committed to delivering outstanding patient care.

If you are ready for a new challenge and feel you could be a great addition to our team, we would love to hear from you. Apply today and help make a difference to the lives of women across Mid and South Essex.

  • Liaise effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care throughout the patient journey.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to healthcare support workers and other team members to maintain high standards of care delivery.
  • Monitor patients' condition, respond to changes in clinical status and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical documentation in line with professional and Trust standards.
  • Contribute to the efficient running of the unit, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective, safe and timely patient care.
