Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Midwife to join our Broomfield Antenatal Clinic as our new Midwifery Team Leader

If successful, you will be responsible for the management and clinical leadership of the maternity team supporting the MDT of staff across the service to ensure all provide high quality, women centered care in an efficient / effective manner

As a team we care about building trusting relationships with women to ensure a positive experience throughout their maternity journey.

So if you would like to be a big part of driving forward positive experiences for our staff and patients, we'd like to hear from you.

If successful, you will be responsible for leading a defined team consisting of Band 5 and Band 6 midwives, as well as maternity support workers. You will be expected to provide strong leadership by fostering a cohesive and motivated team environment, facilitating effective team building, and ensuring clear communication of goals and expectations. A key part of your role will involve organising and coordinating the activities of team members, prioritising tasks effectively, and setting clear, measurable objectives aligned with departmental and organisational goals.
