Trosolwg o'r swydd

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Radiographer to lead the Radiology provision of our Cardiac Catheterisation service at Colchester Hospital.

You will work in our combined Interventional Radiology & Cardiac Angiography (IRCA) unit.

The dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab runs Monday - Friday for procedures such as diagnostic coronary angiography and pacemaker implants and liaises closely with other local hospitals for those needing interventional procedures. Our interventional Radiology service provides a 24/7 service for which Colchester is the regional vascular centre, performing procedures including RIGs, portacath insertions, ureteric stents, fibroid and prostate embolisations. We also accept patients from across the region for urgent, life-saving procedures such as EVAR, FEVAR, embolisation, thrombolysis and angioplasty.

This post requires a rotational on call commitment, for which there is a 45-minute call out time, once appropriate training has been provided.  There is also an opportunity to rotate into CT.
