An opportunity has arisen to recruit a permanent part time Administration Assistant based at The Bungalow, Colchester. The days are Thursday and Friday 9 am to 5 pm. It will involve you working at various location every week to cover the needs of the service. The areas we cover are Colchester and Clacton.
We are looking for someone with the ability and confidence to use their own initiative and prioritise tasks. The post holder must possess excellent communication skills and relevant administrative experience, must be flexible and have attention to detail. You will also need to be computer literate with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. You will be given full training on the various systems that we use.
We are looking for someone with a positive and compassionate approach to supporting patient care. The role will also include telephone calls with our patients and due to the nature of the services we provide administrative support for, these can sometimes be distressing.
We will offer you support, supervision, training and the opportunity for personal development.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve providing support to our clinical colleagues with administrative tasks by providing support in various roles and over the telephone. This role may involve travelling to the various sites we manage to provide admin support to our services.
You must be able to build effective working relationships, be approachable and accessible with a flexible approach to work. This is an excellent career development opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who wishes to pursue an administrative career in the NHS. Successful candidates will be expected to work in the organisation, providing services in a professional, efficient, friendly and polite manner.
