Job overview
We are looking for sessional workers to join Workforce Solutions as Responders. The postholder will provide a Carecall247 urgent emergency response service to all Carecall247 customers in the Hackney area, ensuring compliance with the Telecare Service Association guidelines.
Main duties of the job
Main duties of the job include but are not limited to:
· To provide a timely, effective response to urgent alerts/alarms from Carecall247 customers within their own homes, including Sheltered Schemes
· To complete onward referrals, in consultation with the customer to relevant health and social care services
· To undertake the assessment and triage of a client who has fallen in their home and, where this is a non-injurious fall, to safely use Raizer lifting chair to lift the customer.
· To undertake the assessment and triage of a client in the service users home who have activated the device but has not given a verbal response.

Experience
Essential criteria
- Face-to-face working with the public
- Administration experience
- Ability to read maps / navigate
- Intermediate skills of Microsoft
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
- First Aid / Fire Marshall training

- Good general education

- Full UK driving licence
- Must be able to solve problems with minimum of supervision and be confident to work alone
