Job overview
The role is responsible for the management of day-to-day operations for Provide Wellbeing Services, and will have responsibility for direct line management and wider leadership support across the operational team.
The post holder will enable the successful delivery of high-quality services for service users and their families and will ensure systems and processes that enable the team to function effectively are successfully embedded within the service.
The role requires an innovative mindset and with the ability to work well autonomously as well as within team.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for operational management of the Provide Wellbeing services, taking responsibility for the day-to-day planning and delivery of the service and directly reporting to the Head of Division.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Oversight of clinical capacity planning and clinic planning and scheduling, to ensure capacity and demand are mapped and waiting times are monitored, implementing appropriate plans as required to maintain acceptable waiting times.
To develop and maintain systems and processes to aid service delivery and to ensure SOPs and processes are disseminated, understood and implemented
Oversight of the contracted workforce, to ensure contracts are maintained, reviewed, and updated as appropriate and in line with local policy.
Oversight of HR and recruitment processes and input into talent acquisition and recruitment.
To be responsible for specific functions within the service as agreed with the senior leadership team. To identify and implement initiatives to support continuous quality improvements and service developments.
Responsible for delivery of strategic objectives of the service and to actively participate in the planning of operational developments and design of the service.
To monitor and respond to incidents on the Incident Reporting System and ensure learning from incidents is shared and when required, leads to changes in service delivery.
To monitor and support with responding to complaints.
To provide regular information and data returns and reports as required and with the support of the Data & Compliance Manager, to collate information and analyse data for internal and external monitoring as per service specification (local and national) requirements.
Maintenance of CQC compliance in the key areas of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led across the Surgical service, this may include Registered Manager responsibility.
Ensuring audit schedules are devised and maintained and these are used to drive service quality improvement.
