Job overview

The MDT team within Cancer Services is on the lookout for an MDT Tracker to join their growing service. If you are a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual this is a fantastic opportunity for you to build your skills and knowledge within a fast-paced service and develop your career pathway with the NHS.

You will be providing 'behind the scenes' support to patients who have been referred to the hospital to exclude a diagnosis of cancer and will assist in improving the pathways of suspected and diagnosed cancer patients.

If you are looking for a new challenge, enjoy variety in your work and wish to be part of a team striving to make a difference then we want to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities,  supporting MDT Coordinators and administrative duties to help guide the patient through the CWT pathway in line with national targets.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will be required to liaise with staff at all levels associated with multi-disciplinary team working. You will need to be able to work well as part of a larger team as well as have the ability to work autonomously and be able to multi-task.

You should be able to demonstrate attention to detail, exceptional organisational skills and be able to manage changing priorities as they arise, in a calm and professional manner to ensure the smooth running and efficient service.
