Individual and Regular Giving Fundraising Officer

Non NHS AFC

Job overview

This is an amazing opportunity to join a well-respected local charity making a real difference in our community.

Are you passionate about inspiring people to give? Do you thrive on building meaningful relationships and developing creative fundraising initiatives?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Individual Giving Fundraising Officer to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our donor engagement.

About the Role

As our Individual Giving Fundraising Officer, you will contribute to and deliver our Individual and Regular Giving strategy, with a particular focus on two key programmes: our Lottery and Special Friends scheme.

This is a dynamic and rewarding role with a dual focus:

Acquisition: Attract and inspire new supporters through compelling campaigns and outreach.
Retention & Development: Deepen relationships with existing donors, driving loyalty through engaging experiences and new fundraising products.

You’ll also support broader Individual Giving initiatives, collaborating with colleagues to deliver innovative fundraising projects that enhance donor satisfaction and maximise income for our vital work.

Please be aware that, should the charity receive a certain amount of applications for this role, we retain the right to close this advert early.

Main duties of the job

You will lead the development and execution of a dynamic Regular Giving acquisition strategy, utilising a mix of digital channels, in-house campaigns, and external agency support to grow and diversify our supporter base.

A key part of this role involves overseeing and enhancing donor journeys for both Regular Giving and Lottery supporters, with a focus on deepening engagement, improving retention, and maximising long-term income.

Collaboration is central to success in this role. You will work closely with colleagues across the Fundraising and Marketing teams to produce compelling campaign materials and deliver seamless, automated donor experiences that inspire continued support.

In addition, you will manage relationships with third-party agencies, ensuring all activity remains compliant, high-performing, and aligned with our standards of excellent supporter care.

Through all of this, you will support sustainable income growth by creating meaningful and inspiring donor experiences, while developing integrated, multi-channel fundraising journeys that strengthen loyalty and increase donor lifetime value.

There may be a requirement for some evening, weekend and bank holiday working to support fundraising events.

Candidates are required to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work-related purposes.
