Job overview
Join Our Dynamic Radiotherapy Team – Make a Real Difference Every Day
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our innovative and supportive team, where you’ll be at the forefront of cutting-edge cancer treatment. We’re equipped with Elekta Linacs and a brand-new Halcyon system featuring Ethos software, enabling us to deliver state-of-the-art adaptive radiotherapy. Our department also runs a busy and diverse brachytherapy service, treating prostate, gynaecological, and skin cancers, and we utilise a Toshiba wide bore CT scanner for precision imaging.
As a Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for guiding and managing a small team of Radiographers, Apprentice Radiographers, and Assistants (3–4 staff), ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our treatment or pre-treatment units. You’ll play a key role in delivering a timely, accurate, and patient-centred service—working collaboratively while following departmental protocols.
You’ll provide essential support and reassurance to patients throughout their treatment journey, always maintaining the highest standards of care, professionalism, and respect for patient dignity and emotional well-being.
If you’re passionate about delivering outstanding patient care, motivated to lead, and excited by the opportunity to work with advanced radiotherapy technologies—we’d love to hear from you.
Please be aware that we reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive a suitable number of applications.
