Chief Solution Architect

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital provider in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), which is a system of health and care partners working together for our local population.

Within Mid and South Essex there are 149 GP practices, operating from over 200 sites, forming 27 Primary Care Networks and one Ambulance Trust. There are also three main community and mental health service providers who work together through a community collaborative.

We collaborate with other valuable partners, including three Healthwatch organisations, nine voluntary and community sector organisations and three top tier local authorities, with seven district, borough and city councils, as well as our local universities.

Qualifications

Essential criteria

Educated to Master degree level in an IT, science or engineering discipline or equivalent qualification, or with relevant experience, training and knowledge

Knowledge/Skills& Experience

Essential criteria

Proven significant experience as a lead solution architect or other architectural discipline.
Proven experience of managing a team of intellectual and committed individuals in a complex and versatile working environment.
Proven indepth understanding of: Microsoft enterprise tools (e.g. SharePoint Experience of implementing projects in a governed environment A/I Page 11 of 19 Dynamics, BizTalk, SQL Server, .NET etc.) and Messaging Services HL7, XML.
Proven experience of managing a variety of large, complex projects - scheduling and planning skills important.

Experience of implementing projects in a governed environment

Tech-enabled outcome report writing
Outcome calls with parents and families (via video call)

As a Senior Assessor, you have the opportunity to focus on delivering direct care. Furthermore, if you have the relevant experience and skills, you can take on an additional responsibility. We limit this to one responsibility to allow for focused time on that topic, rather than having your time stretched too thinly. When taking on an additional responsibility, your case volume is reduced, making time available for this focused time.

For Senior Assessors, additional responsibility options include supporting more complex cases, ensuring quality assurance, providing training, facilitating family engagement, and contributing to pathway development.

ADOS Autism Assessor for Children and Young People, based in our Exeter clinic

Time commitment: Full-time employment is preferred, though we can also offer part-time (minimum of 3 days per week) or a self-employed role (again a minimum of 3 days per week).

Location: This role is in-person based at our Exeter, Devon clinic.
