Job overview
The post holder will play a key role in the smooth running and continuous improvement of our Medical temporary staffing processes. A vital service that works closely with clinical areas organising suitable cover to ensure quality of care for our patients.
Working in a close and friendly team you will work in a fast paced environment handling day-to-day tasks such as new shifts to cover, complaints, data entry, and general queries.
If you are a creative person with a passion for innovation and improving quality this could be the role for you - the successful candidate will work closely with the team and wider department to constantly find ways of improving how we work.
Main duties of the job
1) Respond to incoming queries and shift cover requests
This will require strong planning and meticulous working skills
2) Input and update the Temporary Staffing System
Good IT and Data understanding skills will be key to this
3) Manage the Temporary Staffing Email inbox
Being a good organiser will be beneficial in this area.
4) Liaise with Clinics to support the temporary staffing process
Excellent communications and inter-personnel skills with be highly advantageous here
5) Attend Weekly team catch ups
6) Attend monthly Team Meetings
7) Undertake Training as required
8) Maintain a high-level of confidentiality

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- A-Levels, T-Level and/or equivalent experience
- Recent and continued professional development (CPD)
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of working in a busy administrative environment, delivery a full range of secretarial and administrative procedures
- Previous experience of working towards targets/deadlines
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience working within clinical environments
- Previous experience delivering training/ workshops
Knowledge/ Skills
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection legislation and is able to use discretion where necessary
- Knowledge of complaints management process
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word)
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of Medical Temporary staffing platforms such as Allocate
- Knowledge of continuous improvement practices
