An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Emergency Quadrant Ward Clerk to join the Emergency Care Directorate’s Administration Team at Ysbty Glan Clwyd.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, relatives and visitors to the Acute Medical Unit and must demonstrate a professional and sensitive manner and maintain confidentiality at all times.

A good standard of education is required, previous experience of working in an administrative / customer service setting and have excellent communication skills. You will need to be able to work as part of a team and be efficient and organised with your own workload.

You will join a friendly team who provides a variety of reception and administrative duties to assist the smooth running of the Acute Medical Unit. You will also be required to provide support cover in other areas of the Emergency Quadrant.

 Previous ward clerk experience and knowledge of the Welsh Patient Administration System (WPAS) is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. 

The ability to speak Level 3 Welsh is essential for this post.
