Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The Rheumatology department provides full out-patient services which are mainly based in Wrexham Maelor Hospital. General Rheumatology and nurse-led clinics are held daily. There is also a significant service at Deeside Community Hospital with 4 consultant outpatient clinics per week and a three times weekly nurse-led clinic. This service was expanded to accommodate the ongoing project of repatriating BCUHB patients back from English providers.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- MBBS or equivalent
- Full GMC registration.
Desirable criteria
- Depending upon grade applied for, MRCP 1 or further qualifications
Experience
Essential criteria
- Recent experience at Foundation Year 1and 2 level or equivalent, and evidence of achievement of Foundation Competencies
- 6 months experience working in Rheumatology
Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
