Job overview

To answer phone calls for appointments and general enquiries efficiently to support patients to use the phlebotomy service.

To welcome patients, visitors and couriers to the Pathology Department at Basingstoke hospital, especially those attending for blood test, and signpost and troubleshoot, ensuring high levels of customer care and satisfaction.

To manage couriers, pick up and deliveries by informing the relevant Pathology staff of their arrival.

Applicants must be able to work 12:00-17:00 Mon-Fri

  • Attending the admin team meetings to discuss service improvement
  • This job requires good customer service and communication skills aswell as the ability to multi-task and prioritise work
