Working for our organisation

At WPL we play a vital role for the NHS in Hampshire providing end-to-end procurement and supply chain services for University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust and Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Detailed job description and main responsibilities

In this role, you will manage and maintain the client’s procurement and supply chain systems, including e‑catalogues, purchase‑to‑pay, e‑sourcing, and contract management platforms.

You will ensure all systems operate effectively with robust controls, maintaining security, user access, and data integrity in line with business and audit requirements.

Acting as the first point of contact for system users, you will provide timely support, escalate issues appropriately, and implement system changes to drive efficiency and optimise performance.

The role involves reviewing upgrades, conducting system and user acceptance testing, and working closely with stakeholders, IT partners, and third‑party providers to support system developments while ensuring business continuity.

You will oversee catalogue governance, ensuring contracted products are accurate, approved, and available, while supporting analysis and maintaining high‑quality master data.

You will also develop and deliver training, create user guides and procedures, monitor system usage, and promote consistent, effective system operation.
