Are you ready for the next step in your nursing career?

We are seeking a motivated nurses with proven leadership skills in emergency  nursing at Band 7 to join an  established team of senior nurses .

This roles provides senior nursing oversight to the Emergency Department and the Same Day Emergency Care Unit. 

You will be responsible for the provision of clinical leadership, support, and decision making from the patient's arrival to hospital and throughout their journey in ED and SDEC  on a rotational basis  covering day and night duties 7 days a week 

 

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be expected to display excellent communication skills,  have high standards of care and demonstrate excellent leadership skills.

The post holder is responsible for the management of the nursing team with in ED and SDEC and responsible for the continued development of ED and SDEC nursing 

To adhere to the Trust values and missions and the Leadership Charter.
