We have some great opportunities for aspiring Health Visitors to move into team leader roles. We have a full time Team Leader post (St Albans) available for you. 

You will be leading and supporting a skill mixed team to effectively and safely deliver the Healthy Child Programme. You will be proactive and innovative, like a challenge and enjoy working as part of a team. You will be supported by senior leadership and the wider Trust to grow and thrive in your Team Leader role. You will be joining a service that prides itself on delivering a quality, needs led service, which is able to support improvement and innovative projects – ask for an informal discussion with our Assistant Director or Head of PHN to learn more about our passion for Public Health Nursing.

This role is non-clinical but your work will continue to benefit child and families and you will retain you SCPHN qualification, and have access the iHV for inspiration amongst other benefits.

Main duties of the job

 You will contribute to the strategic direction, supporting the continued integration of pathways, and take a lead role in facilitating effective positive partnerships with  key stake holders.

You will lead on productivity, efficiency and clinical outcomes across the Public Health Nursing 0-5 team and will implement improvement plans where appropriate.
