An exciting opportunity has arisen for a ED Receptionist/ward Clerk  to join our friendly team in Emergency Department, on a 3-MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT. 

We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and a self-motivated Receptionist/Ward Clerk to join our well established team.

The post holder will be responsible for providing a customer orientated reception service and clerical support to the clinical team in the ED. This is to include accurately registering and updating details onto the hospital and national databases and assisting in any enquiries from internal and external agencies.

The vacancy is a full time - 37.5 hours per week.  Post holder will be required to work full shift patterns including days, nights, weekends, bank holidays.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
