This is a rewarding opportunity for a Project Manager to lead impactful change across HUC services, with a strong focus on improving quality, patient experience, and clinical governance.

You will play a key role in delivering projects that support CQC compliance and drive continuous improvement across the organisation. Working closely with clinical, operational, and senior leadership teams, you will shape and implement initiatives that enhance service delivery and organisational effectiveness.

This role offers the chance to influence meaningful change in a patient-focused environment, ensuring projects are well-governed, effectively delivered, and aligned with NHS standards and strategic priorities.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

  • Lead and deliver internal change projects, focusing on quality improvement, patient experience, and clinical governance

  • Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to implementation, closure, and benefits realisation

  • Develop and maintain project documentation including plans, risk registers, and reports

  • Ensure robust project governance, including clear decision-making, escalation, and assurance processes

  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies

  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across clinical, operational, and leadership teams

  • Support CQC compliance, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives across services.

Education and Qualifications

  • Education to Degree level or equivalent professional qualification or experience
  • Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2)

  • Qualification in change management

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience working in a Healthcare organisation
  • Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams including clinical, operational and corporate stakeholder
  • Experience managing project lifecycles from initiation through to implementation and evaluation
  • Experience of risk and issue management within complex programmes
  • Knowledge of quality improvement principles
  • Understanding of clinical governance and regulatory compliance requirements

  • Experience working in an NHS 111/ GP out of hours provider
  • Experience supporting CQC preparation, inspections or improvement plans
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent change projects

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Project management skills – ability to plan, manage and monitor according to the project framework and within agreed budget
  • Skilled in facilitating meetings, workshops and collaborative working sessions
  • Proficient in relevant software (i.e. MS Project, Excel, MS Visio, PowerPoint, PM3
  • Highly developed communication skills for delivering key messages to a range of stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capability
  • Ability to analyse and interpret information, pre-empt and evaluate issues, and recommend an appropriate course of action to address the issues.
  • Demonstrated capabilities to work autonomously, where expected results are defined, managing own workload without supervision and make informed decisions in the absence of required information, working to tight and often changing timescales.
  • Excellent verbal, including strong presentation skills, written and interpersonal skills.
